Lebogang Mosia founded Anelo to bring institutional-grade investment promotion practice to a boutique, client-focused firm. Lebogang's career has been built inside the investment promotion ecosystem itself — spanning government trade agencies, an international investment promotion office, pan-African market advisory, local government, and private-sector business development — giving Anelo a rare, practitioner's view of how investment decisions are made on both sides of the table.
At Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal, Lebogang worked within a provincial investment promotion agency, gaining first-hand exposure to how South African regions identify, court, and support investors. This was followed by an engagement as Consultant: South Africa for Invest Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's investment promotion department — experience representing an international investment promotion agency and building bridges between African and Asian markets.
In parallel, Lebogang served AMENA Africa Limited, a pan-African market advisory firm, supporting market entry and growth strategy engagements for clients expanding across African markets such as Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana. Subsequent experience in local government — supporting the Office of the Municipal Manager at Mamusa Local Municipality — and in private-sector business development at a clean technology company has further sharpened Lebogang's understanding of stakeholder management, public-sector process, and commercial deal-making.
